Build the system before the ticket
If the plan is “I’ll come when something happens,” the plan is already late. Discharge in a Greek hospital happens on the hospital’s clock. Flights, time zones, and a sibling who “has a work thing” do not move that clock. You need a named person in Greece, a notarial power of attorney while your parent can still sign, and a 14-day cash bridge that does not require a family vote.

Money from abroad
Send a standing amount into a dedicated care account, not guilt in irregular SEPA bursts. Write the split with siblings on one page. The sibling who stayed in Greece is not free labour. If you cannot visit, you can still pay for a coordinator and for nights. Embassy staff will help with stamps. They will not find a night nurse in Kallithea.

Ζητήστε το πρωτόκολλο γραπτά. Μην κουβαλάτε το εξιτήριο από ντροπή και μετά το λογαριασμό από θυμό. Ο συντονιστής μπορεί να είστε εσείς· τότε τα χρήματα από έξω είναι συμβόλαιο, όχι φιλοδώρημα. Αν διαφωνείτε, ο τρίτος στη σελίδα του οικογενειακού συμβουλίου — όχι η μάνα από το κρεβάτι.
